Healthy Community Partnership

Racial Equity

Supports targeted grant investments, staff training, community education and endowment funds specifically dedicated to fostering a community where race no longer determines one’s well-being.

Emergency Response Fund

Provides crucial support to residents most deeply affected by widespread emergencies and crises; was an integral resource during the early stages of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Endowments for the Future

To further the impact on the Mahoning Valley, the Community Foundation builds endowed resources that will serve the community forever. Endowed discretionary funds allow CFMV and our community-centered board to be responsive to emerging situations and changing needs.

    The Brozik Fund for the Foundation

    Supports unique Foundation needs and activities, including organizational growth, community partnerships and the launch of targeted initiatives. Established in honor of Patricia Brozik, CFMV’s first president.

    Changing Needs Fund

    Allows CFMV to adapt and respond to community needs as they change over time.

    The Fund for Women and Girls

    Expands women’s philanthropy by making investments in the development and leadership of local women and girls.

    Delfin Gibert Fund for Children and Youth

    Provides grants to programs that serve youth under age 18 such as the Boys and Girls Club of Youngstown, Beatitude House and many others.

    William and Willanna DiCiero Memorial Fund

    An endowment that awards grants to impactful organizations and initiatives, with priority given to efforts spearheaded by and serving people of color.
