Description

The workshop will begin with a networking lunch, followed by a keynote speaker before moving into breakout sessions focused on housing, health, education, economic opportunity, and the social safety net.

Attendees will strengthen their:

• understanding of how nonprofit organizations can legally engage in policy and advocacy activities, and why nonprofits should engage in policy advocacy activities
• connections to policy research and advocacy resources, including relationships with local and statewide organizations
• knowledge of current opportunities to engage in policy and advocacy
