The Community Foundation of the Mahoning Valley is looking for a detail-oriented and organized person who is passionate about making a difference in the Mahoning Valley to join the team as Accountant.

This role will handle all financial and fund accounting aspects of the Community Foundation, prepare and present various financial reports and budgets, and interact with outside stakeholders, such as investment managers, CFMV fund representatives, donors, and committee members.

Candidates should have familiarity with accounting standards for nonprofits and experience with fund accounting. CFMV uses an accounting program specifically created for community foundations, so candidates should have a high aptitude for learning new software applications.

COMPENSATION

The annual compensation range is $45,000- $55,000, dependent on qualifications, experience and work hours.

The Healthy Community Partnership-Mahoning Valley (HCP-MV), which is housed at and supported by the Community Foundation of the Mahoning Valley (CFMV), is looking for an energetic, organized person who is passionate about making a difference in the Mahoning Valley to join the team as the HCP-MV Network Coordinator.

The individual should exhibit a commitment to advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion personally and professionally and a willingness to take advantage of opportunities for training/education and discussion on this topic.

Core responsibilities of the Network Coordinator will be to support and grow HCP-MV’s foundational efforts to engage community partners, facilitate meetings, evaluate progress, and communicate success.

Candidates should have experience working closely with diverse groups and effective written and oral communications skills. Proficiency with programs like Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and Canva is preferred. They should also possess the ability to work well independently and as a part of a team. This position requires excellent time management skills, ability to prioritize tasks effectively, and the ability to manage frequent interruptions, multiple deadlines, and peak workload periods.

As a critical part of operations of CFMV, this role will provide administrative support to the CFMV President and other team members, oversee the efficient operations of the office and directly support the Foundation’s grants and scholarship administration.

Candidates should have administrative experience and high aptitude for working with software programs such as MS Office and for learning new software applications. They should also demonstrate strong communication skills and possess the ability to work well independently and as a part of a team. This position requires excellent time management skills, ability to prioritize tasks effectively and the ability to manage frequent interruptions, multiple deadlines and peak workload periods.
